Osnovno je področje modeliranje, simulacije in vodenja sistemov: uporaba in razvoj metod in orodij za računalniško podprto modeliranje, simuliranje in načrtovanje vodenja, harmonizacija toplotnih, sevalnih in svetlobnih tokov v zgradbah, hibridno modeliranje in vodenje sistemov, več domensko objektno orientirano modeliranje, poenostavljenje objektno orientiranih modelov z namenom ohranitve izvedbenih značilnosti (fizikalne preglednosti) modelov.
